Durham Central Park
Since joining the board of directors for Durham Central Park, a nonprofit that manages five acres in Downtown Durham, I have been leading their marketing efforts.
When I joined the team in January 2017, there wasn’t a marketing strategy in place and their social media graphics lacked cohesion and branding. Immediately, I recognized the need to develop personas to identify the voice used for social media messaging and sponsored content, as well as an editorial calendar for strategic scheduling of the content. I also engaged the Kompleks Creative team to create a series of branded templates that we could append for various Park initiatives.
Our social media following has steadily increased across all channels – Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Through the creation of professional uniform digital graphics, the Park’s brand has also elevated.
