The Safe Sisters Circle
When Alana Brown, founder and executive director of The Safe Sisters Circle, was ready to launch her nonprofit, she immediately sent me a Facebook message to see how I could help.
TSSC provides holistic and community-based services to young black women survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual abuse in Washington, DC.
As a new organization, The Safe Sisters Circle needed a logo and website to get started. The logo typically sets the stage for aesthetics, so I started there. Following its completion, I identified a WordPress theme that was suitable for TSSC’s website content. After getting my hands dirty in the code to customize the theme and improve upon its design, the website launched within a few weeks.
